The sutra was originally addressed to Buddha’s disciple Sariputra. Osho uses this context to address the "Sariputra" in every seeker—the rational, logical mind that must eventually surrender to intuition and meditation. Chapter Overview

The sutra says: "Form is emptiness." Osho clarifies that this doesn't mean the world doesn't exist. He uses the metaphor of a mirror and a reflection. The mirror (emptiness) reflects the form. Without the mirror, there is no reflection. Without the reflection, the mirror is useless.
