The story follows Balan K. Nair (Dulquer Salmaan), a columnist in Bangalore who is recovering from a rough breakup. His life takes a turn when he encounters Sheela (Nithya Menen) on a rainy night and finds a camera she left behind in a taxi. As he uses the photos to track her down, he discovers she is a childhood schoolmate with whom he had a long-standing rivalry. The narrative evolves as he attempts to win her heart, even though she is already engaged to someone else.
