Murakami is currently developing a short film (15 minutes) titled "Kaze to Inu" (Wind and Dog) , with no dialogue, only natural sound and a score composed for human and canine hearing ranges. She has also hinted at a book: "The Art of Doing Nothing With Your Dog" — a photo-essay and philosophical guide to simply being present with a canine companion.
