The V5-6R2013 x64 release unlocked vast amounts of available RAM. This allowed users to load massive automotive or aerospace assemblies directly into the manufacturing simulation environment without the fear of crashing due to memory exhaustion. It facilitated smoother rendering of high-fidelity 3D environments and allowed for more complex Digital Mock-Ups (DMU) to be utilized directly on the shop floor planning phase.
