The two form an uneasy partnership: Aditya rebuilds sets and trains some dancers behind Shanta’s back while Shanta continues her classes. Their methods conflict — he insists on precision; she insists on soul. Both begin to learn from the other: Aditya recognizes the raw, emotional power of folk rhythm; Shanta sees how structure can sharpen expression.
