Urban Reign Save Data ~upd~ -
Urban Reign (Namco, 2005) is a 3D brawler with complex unlockable characters, stages, and difficulty modes. This paper analyzes the save data format ( BESLES-53396UR on PS2 memory cards) to identify offsets controlling story progression, character unlocks, and arena scores. Using hex comparison and emulation-based debugging, we map 37 bytes of meaningful data within a 2 KB file. Results show a linear progression flag system and checksum protection. Implications for preservation and modding are discussed.
Virtual cards are typically found in the memcards folder of the PCSX2 installation directory. Benefits of 100% Completion Saves urban reign save data
